KWI Clutching Fusion Secondary Clutch | Kawasaki H2
The KWI Fusion H2 Floating Secondary is a patent-pending, full billet secondary clutch engineered from the ground up to bring Kawasaki H2 clutching to KWI standards. Built around KWI's proven Floating Clutch Technology, it allows the secondary to self-align with the primary under load — eliminating the side-load, belt deflection, and friction that make factory fixed secondary clutches inefficient under real-world riding conditions.
The floating hub design allows controlled lateral movement on the gearbox shaft, maintaining optimal belt alignment through the entire shift cycle. The result is cleaner belt-to-sheave contact, smoother RPM transitions, lower operating temperatures, reduced belt wear, and more consistent clutch performance across any terrain or riding condition.
Paired with the DR3 Groovix Helix, the Fusion H2 Secondary delivers aggressive backshifting, strong belt grip, and active cooling performance that keeps temperatures down even under sustained hard riding. The included Quick Release Helix Cover simplifies clutch housing removal and makes tuning and maintenance significantly faster — and the Kwik Change Belt Tool means easier belt swaps in the field when you need them most.
One of the most powerful features of the Fusion H2 Secondary is adjustable final drive ratio through belt selection — no gearbox changes required. The Gates KRX 47R4738 Belt delivers approximately 5% gear reduction, ideal for riders prioritizing top-end speed, dunes, and desert. The OEM Pro R Belt delivers approximately 15% gear reduction, giving you the crawling torque and control needed for rocks, mud, and technical terrain. Swap belts and you've effectively retuned your machine for an entirely different riding environment.
